Line Cook *Sign On Bonus Eligible* in Milwaukee, Wisconsin For Sale
As a Line Cook, you are responsible for preparing all food items according to the recipes and guidelines of the Sous Chef for: Wildflower's Restaurant, Copper's Pub & Grill, and room service. This is a full time position including weekends and holidays.
Line Cook Job Duties:
Prepare food efficiently as orders are received.
Communicate effectively with the Sous Chef.
Follow predetermined instruction regarding recipes and quantities.
Make constant efforts to improve working procedures to upgrade food qualities.
Have a basic knowledge of food cost control.
Comply with all food handling and sanitation procedures.
Respond to all reasonable requests made by supervisors and management.
Maintain work area and equipment.
Line Cook Qualifications:
Previous restaurant/banquet cooking experience and/or culinary training required.
Must have manual dexterity for knife handling, sauteing, and equipment usage.
Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds (not overhead).
Must have line cooking, grilling, broiling, sauteing, steaming and prep work experience.
Practices excellent food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to operate a variety of commercial cooking equipment.
