Good with tempo, time and Rhythm.
We do a mix of covers and originals
Everyone 35 and up please. Most of the group are people in their 50?s
Seasoned players who want some fun and to make a little bit of money doing it.
If you are a person who is looking for strictly paying gigs?we can not accommodate you
We will also be doing parties, social get togethers and charity shows.
We?d like to make money at this but we all have jobs and this is our pastime/hobby.
We do some 50?s & 60?s rock
Beatles, Elvis, Cash, Doors
We also do some interpretations
Anything from rocking up Simon & Garfunkle
to doing a heavy metal version of the sound of music.
No heavy drinkers
No smokers
No bible thumpers(it?s okay if you are religious, but don?t bring it to practice!)
We are all moderate people?moderate in an extreme way ?har!
We expect a certain amount of professionalism
Be on time to practice
Be rehearsed if it?s agreed upon(i.e.practice parts on your own time before practice)
Communicate in a friendly civil manner to each other(be gentlemen)
Leave your workday and your wife out of practice
Be present when we get together(have your head into what we are doing at the time)
If you have a woman who you feel may limit you or not support you in your musical endeavors audition elsewhere (We do not tolerate Yoko Ono syndrom)
We also are looking for someone who knows how to have a good time and enjoy themselves(but still work towards a goal)
