We are currently recruiting for a Systems Manager to lead our Materials Engineering Organization. This Engineering leadership position will lead the Materials Engineering team as well as development of technical knowledge and will be responsible for the following:
Develop and implement the strategy to deliver world class materials and advanced process development to support internal and external stakeholders
: Support the new product and current product teams through the product development process: consult as technical experts
: Develop an alternative supply base to handle excess demand on resources
: Identify, develop and demonstrate feasibility of product processes and technologies that can be incorporated into product offerings in a timely and reliable manner.
Education Required:
This position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or another related field. Preferred candidates would have a master's degree, either technical or MBA.
Experience Required:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years relevant experience. In addition they will have demonstrated the following:
: Ability to lead projects with cross:functional teams to improve business performance and achieve continuous improvement.
: Ability to provide clear and concise feedback to others.
: Strong interpersonal skills including conflict resolution, coaching, mentoring, training and facilitation.

Basic knowledge of materials engineering is required in the following areas:
: Material properties, (steel, aluminum, composites, others)
: Heat treat
: Fabrication process and development (casting, forging, molding, machining, drawing, stamping)
: Material failure analysis
: Functional and cosmetic coating and plating
