JOB SUMMARY The Account Executive is a critical part of the retention and cross selling process for large clients of AFG. They develop and manage all aspects of the client relationship and build client revenue through deep sell opportunities. They ensure the client is fully aware of all services provided by AFG and that the client receives Best of Class Service” from all AFG resources to fulfill their needs and exceed their expectations. This position also supports the Consultant in the new client sales process. Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements. Responsible to report any procedure or process that doesn’t meet regulatory requirements including fraud, whether suspected or confirmed, to management. This reporting can be done directly to any member of management, including Human Resources or Corporate Security, or can be reported through Associated’s anonymous Ethics Hotline. KEY RESULT AREAS Customer Retention Communication Other Attention to detail Customer Service Deep Sell Other Overcoming obstacles to achieve organizational goals JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES • Coordinate the fulfillment of Client Service Plans including the implementation of value added services AFG provides by organizing safety and risk management services including period claims experience reviews with the Claims Specialist and possibly the Business Insurance Consultant. Viewing and revising the client service agreement in conjunction with the client, the Business Insurance Consultant, the clients AFG team, and the risk management staff to ensure comprehensive delivery of the value added services. • Implement strategic decisions that are made during the mid-term and renewal processes with the BIA/BC and the client. This may include working directly with the marketing department for carrier selection, analyzing of plan designs, providing alternate funding options, negotiating rates with carriers and attending client renewal meetings. Ensure the renewal process is completed timely and with accuracy. • Provide support expertise to Account Manager including assisting in the resolution of client service issues brought to the Consultant’s attention. • Create, organize and present, along with the BIA/BC, new and renewal proposals and provide education for all AFG offerings. • Anticipate the needs of clients for all Commercial Property & Casualty products and take steps to meet these needs including products offered by AFG. • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy to strive for any work presented to client being error-free. • Keep clients up to date with legislative changes or any other Property & Casualty related news, updates and trends. • Share a strong working knowledge of all AFG Strategic Partners and the services they can provide clients. • Solicit feedback from clients periodically to ensure service expectations are being met or ideally, exceeded. • Work with other Account Executives to improve processes and procedures and acts as a backup to others to ensure clients’ needs are met. • Act as a mentor to others to contribute to their personal development. QUALIFICATIONS: Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Experience: 7-10 years Property & Casualty, which can be, achieved in insurance sales or service Special Skill Requirements: Analytical Customer Relations Verbal Communication Written Communication Ability to Multi Task and Prioritize Microsoft Office Other Duties and Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Adherence to Company policy and procedures is required. Perform duties in accordance with the Vision & Values of Associated Banc-Corp. Regular attendance is required.
