The Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) Manager provides leadership to company acquisitions and divestiture processes. You will be a hands partner to support the Integration and Divestiture processes for acquired and divested assets, respectively. You will work directly with the business leader and business integration manager to execute integration with the Building Efficiency business unit. In this role you will establish a structure approach to defining the integration end state, and deploy best practices and processes to achieve the target results. You will develop expert skills in the integration process and toolkit, and will educate and deploy these practices through the integration. Lastly, you will assure integration learning is captured, and readied for deployment to future integrations and divestitures. Duties ? 1. Creates growth / process improvement plans for business units. Offers recommendations and analysis on course correction and seriousness and magnitude of business issues 2. Conducts external research and financial analysis and provides recommendations to build the business unit growth plans 3. Prepares presentations for President and Senior Management Team to present strategy and business analysis to Corporate Senior Management 4. Pioneers ideas for acquisitions by identifying companies that align with the strategic goals, qualifying those companies, and conducting the due diligence activities Assists the Business Unit VP & GM in deal negotiations 5. Creates acquisition integration plans and drives execution of the plans once the deals are closed 6. Manages divestitures by assembling list of likely buyers and preparing offering and memorandum 7. Assists finance with creating, analyzing, and interpreting financial and non-financial business metrics and creates action plans to resolve business issues as a result Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor s degree in Business/Science/Engineering/Finance or related discipline, Minimum of (7) seven years of progressively more responsibilities consulting Detail oriented. Prior experience leading consulting teams Demonstrated presentation and communication skills. Excellent analytical skills and judgment. Ability to work effectively in a highly energetic and multiple-engagement environment, dedication to teamwork, a strong work initiative, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas. MBA preferred.
