Position OverviewThe Property Manager/Corporate Facilities Manager is responsible for managing the interior and exterior maintenance and repair of multiple corporate properties and facilities including our Columbia, Maryland TASC office and field branch offices located throughout the United States. This includes maintenance of equipment, buildings and grounds.The Property Manager provides recommendations for both capital and operating budgets, in addition to performing other tasks including but not limited to: leading renovation/tenant improvement projects from pre-bid through completion; Lease negotiation; company vehicle maintenance including registration and insurance; purchasing, inclusive of contract negotiations; new office opening and closures; security; coding and invoicing for all vendor accounts; managing tax assessments and insurance for multiple properties; space management and liaising with 3rd party tenants. Desired Skills/ Experience/Attributes10+ years experience working in professional services environment preferred5+ years experience with purchasing inclusive of lease and contract negotiations3+ years construction and project management experienceSolid knowledge regarding physical systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, etc.Proven experience managing and tracking costs including: tenant invoicing, AP, building valuations, etc.3+ years experience work with various local and state agencies to guarantee compliance with all issues regarding: inspections, insurance and building standards.The ideal candidate for this position:Has an executive presence; is a leader with the ability to work with peers, staff and senior management collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Has demonstrated project management success and an entrepreneurial driveHas strong verbal and written communication skillsHas exceptional organizational and time management skillsIs a detail oriented leader with the ability to “think outside the box” to develop cost effective solutions to a variety of issuesPossesses an unquestionable level of integrityIs committed to fostering and maintaining a service culture.
