Tax Analyst ? US Sales, Use & Property Tax - Quad/Graphics (Sussex, WI) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin For Sale

Quad/Graphics, a leading US publicly traded printing company, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Tax Department as a Tax Analyst. This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Sussex, WI and will focus on indirect tax throughout the United States. As a Tax Analyst, you will work closely with Quad/Graphics finance and accounting personnel, plant controllers and auditors to ensure that our indirect tax (sales, use & property) matters are completed and issues are resolved properly and in a timely manner. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide support to internal customers in responding to customer tax inquiries Ensure the property tax reports are issued timely to service providers Obtain & review asset information for property tax reporting and payments Participate in property tax audits and contribute to the development of property and use tax strategies and methodologies Conduct special projects and provide assistance in analyzing tax impacts pertinent to the company Review use, Personal and Real Property tax bills, notices, and assessments for accuracy Determine accuracy of taxes billed by respective jurisdictions Communicate and review property tax assessments with service providers Maintain property tax payments, payment status logs, appeal status logs and files, as well as account reconciliations Maintain/Update Property Tax forecasts, budgets and tax paid work papers Review Account Payable Use Tax accruals in taxing systems Maintain Use Tax Codes in Accounts Payable system Update US Indirect Tax matrix Participate in various research projects as needed *LI-=TW1
